New York Financial Services Executive Charles Hinckley

The founder of CC Hinckley Co., LLC, Charles (Chuck) Hinckley has accumulated over two decades of experience in investment banking and financial advisory services. He has a diverse background and extensive knowledge of various sectors, including alternative energy, cleantech, and real estate. Charles Hinckley is based in New York, but has financed and developed power projects all over the US as well as internationally.

Prior to his career in finance, Mr. Hinckley was a member of the U.S. Navy, which he joined as a surface line officer and completed his service as a lieutenant. During his military career, he served as chief engineer of a gas turbine destroyer and as a tactical action officer of a warship in the Persian Gulf.

Over the past 17 years, Chuck Hinckley has also served in other executive roles for financial services companies in New York and Connecticut. From 2004 to 2009 he served as chairman and CEO for the wind power development company Noble Environmental Power in Essex where he was awarded “Renewable Deal of the Year” by Project Finance magazine. In the following nine years he was the CEO of AWCC Capital, a specialty financial service company based in Old Saybrook, CT. During this time, he arranged the sale and leaseback financing of real estate that led to the first 15 solar projects of the firm.

Since August 2020, Mr. Hinckley has been serving as managing partner for his firm CC Hinckley Co., mainly focusing on renewable power, e-mobility, sustainable agriculture, and energy storage.
